Northampton Technical college was established in 1924, but only in 2005 the institution was awarded full university status and granted research degree awarding powers, which is when it was renamed to the University of Northampton. One of the youngest universities in the UK, they are proud to be adding value to the society thus creating social impact. Established as Napier Technical College back in 1964, this young institution received its full award giving powers in 1992 and was inaugurated as Edinburgh Napier University.
