About the Programme

“Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things in a different way” Edward de Bono

  • The MSc Leadership and Innovation is an advanced course of study for professionals, managers and leaders who wish to develop their leadership and innovation knowledge and skills.

  • Unlike ‘traditional’ leadership courses, this programme is all about how to think and lead differently, so important in the face of the contemporary challenges of change and innovation. Themes of management, leadership, change, innovation and creative thinking are explored.

  • The structure of this course is designed in a way that it gradually devolves to the students’ interests and experience. Three core modules (Leadership, Change & Organisational Development, Leadership and Design Thinking and Research Methods for Professional Inquiry) and an optional module serve as points of departure towards a self-developed project where students play to their strengths in spaces that give them the opportunity to experiment, speculate and investigate themes of their choice through a Collaborative Project or a Dissertation.

  • The course is offered at Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma and Masters Level.

Benefits

  • The programme helps participants to apply radically new thinking (rather than ‘off-the-shelf’ models or a single magic solution) to find innovative solutions to increasingly complex problems whatever their area of work or expertise all wrapped up in a highly reputable and recognised degree.
