The Edinburgh Napier University Online Masters in Data Engineering is aimed at practitioners with a background in business, quantitative science, or computing and professionals who work with Big Data.
The Online Masters in Data Engineering will teach students a critical understanding of the tools and technologies involved in the analysis, design, development, testing, evaluation and modification of Data. The knowledge gained will enable students to select and evaluate Data tools for the collection, processing and presentation of complex and diverse data sets. This MSc in Data Engineering course also trains students to critically review an organisation’s data needs and make appropriate and measurable recommendations on the use of Data Engineering techniques.
Students studying the Online Master of Science in Data Engineering will learn the software engineering process that creates and works with large and complex data sets. Acquire the knowledge and experience to analyse Big Data, and the necessary tools and techniques to properly apply it to an organisation’s strategy.
